What we’re looking for:

You are proficient in one or more object-oriented languages (e.g., C# or Java), and one or more scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python); you have working and in-depth knowledge and experience with OOPS concepts and OS concepts You have the ability to reason about product quality while producing software requirements for features, requirements for system qualities (including performance and security), product design, software design, estimates, algorithms, source code, test plans, unit test harnesses, software product information and bug fixes.

Position Overview

You will apply experience in the application of software development methodologies to complete assignments to required standards of quality and timeliness. You will also participate in writing software requirements and design specifications for assigned projects; contribute to project approach, methodology selection, project planning, reviewing the work products of others, and status reporting. You will plan and conduct tasks to implement design requirements to produce high-quality software.

Role Responsibilities

  • You will work in multiple sub‐disciplines of software and systems engineering related to estimating, designing, developing and executing test procedures and cases based on requirements relevant to automated test planning and creation for product and system testing; depending on specific requirements,
  • Write effective manual and automated test cases or automated frameworks;
  • Perform software defect tracking and regression for identified project release
  • Will conduct smaller development projects independently; perform specific portions of broader projects managed by a supervisor/s.
  • You will actively support and apply the company’s software engineering processes and standards within the group
  • Will communicate technical issues within the scope of the assignment
  • Sets up test environments and builds out interdependent test beds, writes effective plans and for one or more medium 
  • Design, develop and execute reusable and maintainable automated scripts
  • Plans and execute functional and system-level testing of products across all platforms to test various features
  • Establish and maintains thorough and accurate documentation of all work and communicate technical issues within the scope of assignments
  • You will Implement, unit test, debug and integrate code of moderate complexity and writes and conducts tests to verify the functionality, accuracy, and efficiency of developed or enhanced software
  • Will Work with other engineering teams on technical matters and may work with vendors or customers on technical information, handling escalation issues, or modifications related to projects

Basic Qualifications

  • You will have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Preferably Computer science)
  • You will have between 2.5 – 4 years of directly related work experience;
  • Will have proficiency in one or more object-oriented languages (e.g., C# or Java), and one or more scripting languages (e.g., Javascript, Python); knowledge and experience with OOPS concepts and OS concepts
  • You would have demonstrated ability to reason about product quality while producing software requirements for features, requirements for system qualities (including performance and security), product design etc
  • Have a strong foundation and discipline in software engineering processes and experience with planning and prioritization of design and development activities to resolve a wide range of issues
  • You have knowledge and experience with relational database technologies (SQL, MongoDB, schema design)
  • Have experience  in implementing, unit testing, debugging and integrating code of moderate complexity
  • You have working knowledge of software engineering and Configuration Management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • You have experience of working in the area of Globalization/Localization Engineering
  • Have experience in web front-end development (Eg : Angular JS)
